Setting up a Center for Environmental Technologies in Mohammedia, Maroc Adelphi Consult has been entrusted by the German GTZ to undertake a feasibility study for a new Environmental Technology Center in Mohammedia, Maroc. The Center shall assist local companies to employ environmentally sound technologies and promote new companies in this field. The centre will be attached to the faculty of technology transfer at the university Hassan II in Mohammedia. Within the framework of this consultancy it will be vital to look for synergies to already existing structures or organisations like the “Centre Marocain de Production Industrielle Propre (CMPP)” and the „Centre International des Technologies de l’Environnement de Tunis“ (CITET)”, which is also supported by GTZ and has been thoroughly analysed by Adelphi Consult within the framework of a project progress review earlier this year. Main elements of this consultancy will be to undertake a stakeholder analysis and to clearly identify the needs of the target group. Based on this assessment, Adelphi Consult is to suggest a service package for the to be founded environmental technology centre, to estimate the costs involved to set up and run such a centre and to propose a plan of action to actually set up the centre. Adelphi Consult will also be involved in setting up the centre, e.g. through training measures for the staff. Contact persons: Jörg Janischewski, Mikael P.
